With over 135 million #music posts, Instagram has become a hotspot for rising talent in the music industry. All kinds of artists, from singers to electric violinists, are using the platform to showcase their talents. This time, we take a look at the Top 10 Singers who are taking over Instagram.

Cooper Phillip is a recording artist and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. She was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, where she got her Master of Music degree at a very early age. She had already won more than 80 singing competitions worldwide. Her talents began with learning to play classical piano and the harp. Orchestral arrangements gave her a solid foundation for composing her own music.
“I feel grateful about having music education because it’s necessary for a vocalist to understand and know music,” says Phillip.
While Phillip started writing music just a few years ago, she has already recieved recognition in the U.S. music community as a successful writer and performer. Phillip’s music has been featured in hundreds of blogs in the U.S., Asia, Russia, and the UK. This year she released a new single “Party By Myself” that has been streamed over 2 million times in a two month period. In 2017, Phillip will release an EP of new, original music and will go on tour with her band.
Jordan Tariff, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Massachusetts, currently resides in LA.
“I started singing 2 years ago when a few family members and friends pushed me into sharing what I love to do by posting a few 15 second covers to Instagram. And it has sort of taken off from there.”
Making the most of the west coast, Tariff has been in the studio writing and recording original songs–now prepping them for release.
Michael is 20 years-old and lives in Moscow, Russia. He plays guitar and piano, and has a very unique voice. Michael performed on a Russian TV show similar to The Voice, and although he didn’t take first place, he has already had tons of success on Instagram.

At 15 years-old, singer-songwriter Ian Grey has been a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist since he could walk. Grey currently lives in LA, and is actively featured on Lifetime Television’s The Pop Game, starring Timbaland. He also performs live regularly and recently opened for Alex & Sierra at The Roxy in LA. Avalanche, Grey’s first EP, was released in October 2016.

Jeyhan is a 17-year-old pop/R&B/soul singer-songwriter from the Washington D.C. area. Similar in vocal styling to Sam Smith, John Legend, and Zayn Malik, Jeyhan has a very mature sound.

Nick Catoire is a singer-songwriter based in New York City. His music is inspired by soul and pop artists like Adele, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, and The Jackson Five. Catoire has the kind of sound that grabs you and shakes you the second you hear it. He’s currently starting work on his first EP and playing shows around NYC.
Equipped with an unforgettable voice, Jonathan Tilkin, age 21, has burst onto the Instagram scene, creating unique acoustic covers of pop’s hottest tracks. Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, Tilkin is following in the footsteps of childhood friends, like Ariana Grande, while paving his own path for musical success.

Tyler Cohenour is a 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist raised on classic rock. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, and plays in a band called The Western Sons (@thewesternsons). Tyler got his start on Instagram almost three years ago and has since been featured on some huge music pages like @hotvocals, helping him gain a substantial following. There’s no doubt we’ll be seeing and hearing more of Cohenour and his spacey, grungy, and soulful sound.
Arnau is a singer, producer, and actor from Barcelona, Spain. He’s 17 years-old and loves soul, rock, pop, and R&B.
“I sing in English, Spanish, and sometimes in Catalan. Some artists that are a reference for me are Russ, The Weekend, Jarabe de Palo, Fito & Los Fitipaldis and Macaco,” says Arnau.
Arnau has a very distinct voice and is currently building quite the following on the career-making app that is Instagram.
